Growing High Quality Roses Since 2007
The Xflora group is centered around the Nakuru – Njoro area in the Rift Valley in Kenya. We grow high quality roses for export all over the world. Currently, we have 120 hectares under greenhouses; growing at altitudes ranging between 1900m and 2450m above sea level. The topographical variation allows us to grow a wide range of varieties. Our product assortment includes over one hundred and twenty different varieties grown commercially, which include large head traditional roses, garden shaped roses and spray roses. We provide gainful employment to over 2300 workers in a rural environment.
Making an Impact Across the Globe
We take extra care and provide premium and niche roses to the higher segments. We build long term relationships that helps us reach florists across the globe and give them the gold standard in roses.
High quality floristry begins with the availability of elegant cultivation of flowers that allows the arrangement to stand apart. The business of selling roses has a lot to do with the raw flowers supplied.
Our farms are designed to harvest rainwater to meet our irrigation needs.
Started in 2007, Xpressions Flora is located 11 Kilometers from Njoro along the Njoro Elburgon highway. The farm has 33 Hectares under greenhouses at an altitude of 2100m and over 100 acres under eucalyptus with a further 70 acres of indigenous forest, which helps create a microclimate.
This is the second farm in the company’s portfolio. Located a few kilometers from the town of Salgaa, the farm has 20 Hectares under greenhouses at an altitude of 1950m. Africa Blooms has a fully automated propagation unit capable of producing Two Million stems a year.
Sojanmi Spring Fields
Sojanmi Spring Fields is the largest farm in the group’s portfolio with 45 Hectares under greenhouses. Located a few kilometers behind Egerton University in Njoro, the farm sits at an altitude of 2400m, making it the ‘highest’ farm in terms of production and location.
Started in 2015, Bloom Valley is the newest farm in the group’s portfolio. The farm is adjacent to Africa Blooms in Salgaa with 20 Hectares under greenhouses. Growing in hydroponics with state of the art facilities, the farm is located at 1950m.
